REBRAND
YO! Sushi had a problem. Their name.
After being called YO! Sushi for over 20 years, most of the UK thought they sold only sushi. And as it turns out, 50% of all Brits are just too scared to try sushi. Wimps. So, it was obvious. To get more customers, we had to change their name to show off their whole jazzy menu. But things quickly got out of hand... and we ended up creating the world's longest resturant name, ever.
The result? A 48% increase in sales of items other than sushi, and a 14% increase in footfall through the door.
WHAT THE? :
Role? Creative / Where? Pablo London / With? Jacob Hellstrom
After our rather silly stunt that made Shelley from Coventry very angry, we changed the brand’s name to just YO! and launched lots of print, encouraging brits to try the exciting range of food YO! has to offer.
