LEAVE THEM CERTAIN
In 2020, the law around organ donation changed to an opt-out system, to allow more people to save more lives.
But ever since, there's been a problem. Families of the deceased are always consulted about organ donation, regardless of the law. And many families have been saying no to organ donation in the event of their loved one passing, because they’re unsure of what their wishes would have been. So we created a campaign about looking out for your loved ones. Encouraging people to share their organ donation wishes with their family, so that they won't be left uncertain during an already difficult time. We did so through the true story of Shivum and his late father Bharat, who hadn’t talked about organ donation. In the two months following the campaign, ad trackermetrics showed there was a 52% uplift in people talking about organ donation and sharing their decision with their families.
